TRUFFLE HUNT AND TASTING YOUR BOUNTY!
Truffles are found in abundance in Umbria throughout the year, though you wouldn't know it. Umbria keeps a low profile compared to other celebrated regions in Italy but its delicacies are no less delicious. We're taking you on a hunt for truffles and a walk through the hills to learn about the special rituals and routines of the truffle hunter and their dogs. Of course, we'll be tasting our finds too!

Italy's most beautiful hilltop towns
Umbria is a region of peaks and valleys where hilltop towns preside over ancient olive groves and vineyards. We visit several of these picturesque hamlets on tour, each with its own character and sweeping views

UMBRIAN FOOD AND WINE
Rustic delights await your tastebuds in the region of Umbria. Known all over Italy for cured meat, porchetta and truffles, the verdant plains of the region are the source of some of Italy's most delicious produce. Local wines Orvieto and Sagrantino are the perfect accompaniment to Umbrian dishes.

ASSISI: SAINT FRANCIS' HOME
Beautiful Medieval Assisi has a long and fascinating past, thanks to its most celebrated resident St Francis. The home of patron saint patron saint of animals and environment has attracted pilgrims for centuries who came to pay their respects at the basilicas built in his honor. No trip to Umbria would be complete without a visit and wander around Assisi.

PASTA COOKING CLASS
We think the best souvenirs are skills you can take home and share with family and friends. Making (and eating) pasta is one of life great pleasures and you'll learn how to make a delicious local pasta dish in the Umbrian countryside. Perfetto!
